Having a positive mindset and choosing to see the silver lining is something that believe it or not, people like me get hate for allllll the time! Does it bother me? Nope! I know it just comes from people who don’t quite understand high vibrational mindsets (yet), and often times when people don’t understand something, they kinda go into attack mode, ya feel me? It’s uncomfortable, I can understand that. The main point of view I often hear is that it’s impossible to be SO happy all the time! And duh, I mean after all, we ARE human. It’s in our nature to have negative thoughts, worry, feel melancholy, angry, etc. THIS is where the magic of the mind steps in.

You see, when you start to feel those negative emotions creeping their way in, you aren’t supposed to fight them off. Goodness, no! Not the right kind of  “strong mindset”, so put down the boxing gloves. To tell you the truth, that only makes it worse. You also don’t avoid dealing or coping with emotions either. The trick is – you have to allow yourself to feel the emotions running through your body, understand them, acknowledge them (along with whatever lesson may have revealed itself) and RELEASE them. You can do this by deep breathing exercises and here is the real kicker….

Making the CHOICE to feel differently. You are the author of your own narrative and internal dialogue.

Now, I know this is more simple said than done; especially if it’s a new concept to you. But it gets easier and eventually becomes second nature. We live in a time where I dare say it’s “trendy” and “cute” and “funny” to complain about EVERYTHING.

“Adulting sucks.” “F*$K MY LIFE!” “Nah, I’m too broke.” “Ugh, I’m so fat.” “Ew, I’m ugly.” “My growth rate sucks!” “The numbers are shit for my site this week…”- The list goes on…

You might even be saying these phrases in joking ways with your friends and business partners, teasing yourself about how business is done the drain this month or how nobody is inquiring about your programs! How many of you have done that? Aaaaand how many of you also ended up manifesting that reality without even realizing it? Our thought patterns really can snowball and impact all areas of our lives from businesses to relationships, finances, you name it!

For a lot of people, it’s much EASIER to just dwell and sit in the low vibrational mindsets than it is to open your mind and take a moment to learn how to flip the script. Ahh, the path of least resistance. It’s such a simple concept, but maybe that’s why it’s so hard for people to understand; because it’s so simple, they don’t believe it! Maybe it’s because of your current circumstances and you’re going through a very dark period and don’t have many sources of love and light around you to help encourage and lift you up. Maybe it’s thought patterns you carry because of things you heard from adults as you were growing up.

Whatever your case might be… if it’s negative, it doesn’t have to define you or your thoughts, dreams, businesses, any of it!
